Submit a book for the VU Authors Reception

Members of the VU Community are encouraged to submit a book to be included in the VU Authors Reception. The deadline for submission for the 2009 Reception is February 28, 2009.

Guidelines for submissions

The Library will honor books at the 2009 Reception that:

  • Have been published between January 1 and December 31, 2008
  • Are authored, edited, or translated by Valparaiso University faculty, staff, students, retirees, or emeriti
  • Are published in print

    The books may be:

  • Jointly authored, edited or translated, OR
  • New editions that have been previously honored if more than 30% of the book is new material
