Admission requirements for international students

• Completed International Student Graduate Management Application.
• $50.00 Application Fee - Paid by credit card on the Online application.  
• 2 Letters of Recommendation. Online Recommendation: - https://www.valpo.edu/grad/forms/recommendation/index.php?action=applicant&mbaStudent=true  Complete the Applicant section, listing your recommender's contact information.  
• TOEFL 575 (230 computer or 90 iBT) or IELTS Level 6.5 or Interlink Level 5.  Please use Institution code 1874 and your score sheet will be sent to us electronically.  For information about Interlink at Valparaiso University, please visit http://interlinkesl.com/vu/.
• Cover Letter. A one-page personal statement that states why you wish to obtain an MBA from Valpo. This can be emailed directly to our office at mba@valpo.edu.
• For all degrees obtained outside the United States, an official third-party transcript evaluation from World Education Services (WES) to verify validity of documents and determine whether degree is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor degree.  Select ICAP course-by-course transcript evaluation.  An applicant's international credentials will not be reviewed for admission consideration until a WES transcript evaluation is received.  Transcripts should be submitted to WES showing completion of bachelor's degree. www.wes.org.  We will also accept credential evaluations from firms that are www.NACES.org members and www.AACRAO.org.
• GMAT or GRE. Valparaiso University's institution code is 1874. To register for the GMAT or for more information, please go to www.gmat.com. Please note that a minimum score of 500 is required.  We will also accept the GRE; for more information, please go to www.ets.org/gre.  For citizens of Iraq, the GRE is regularly offered.  For a schedule of test dates and registration, go to http://www.amideast.org/iraq/testing/gre-general.
• Affidavit of Financial Support. This Affidavit indicates that you have the full cost of studying at Valparaiso University available to you. The form can be found here.
• A copy of a current passport showing your full name and date of birth.  This can be scanned and emailed to mba@valpo.edu.
• All application materials are due no later than two months prior to the intended start date.  Electronic submission is preferred.  If you must submit written materials, please send them directly to the following address to expedite the application process:
