MBA programs in Valparaiso University’s College of Business are designed to be flexible, and we welcome both full- and part-time students. We’ve ensured that the heart of a Valpo MBA is the same – no matter how you choose to personalize it.

MBA students benefit from the same rigorous and forward-thinking core classes, the same expert faculty, and Valpo’s renowned commitment to values-based leadership. It’s a base that has launched Valpo MBA alumni into successful careers.

The Right MBA for Your Goals

With several MBA concentrations, you’ll find an MBA that’s tailored to your career stage and your goals. Whether you want to immerse yourself in the best practices of international business, or to accelerate your career with excellent training in management, our programs will help you build the knowledge and skills to excel.

The Right MBA for Your Schedule

All Valpo MBA courses are taught in eight-week blocks, to streamline scheduling.

For full-time day students, the Global MBA is an accelerated, one-year program. You’ll move through each block with your cohort, developing valuable connections while you hone new skills.

If you’re planning to balance your MBA coursework with other professional and family responsibilities – or with classes for a Valpo law degree – evening coursework is also available. Students enrolling in the Professional MBA program or the J.D./MBA also benefit from rolling admissions deadlines, with six start dates throughout the year.

Students frequently use technology – such as Google hangout – to complete team assignments. This technology allows students to virtually meet and share information with greater convenience. Further, MBA students have access to the schedule-saving software MBA Live®, which allows you to be part of Valpo’s classroom experience wherever you are. It’s an effective back-up plan for weeks when you travel or have family obligations.

All of our required courses are available via MBA LIVE®. MBA courses utilize software that allows students to log in and participate in a live, web-broadcasted class session as it is happening. Students can interact with the classroom through speakers and microphones, collaborate with students through shared screens, and view all presentation materials and videos online as well. The courses are also recorded and stored for students to view at a later time, when necessary.
