Biography
Teaching Philosophy - My goal is to prepare each student with the skills that will distinguish them from students graduating from other institutions. By knowing how businesses test, develop and promote new talent, I can help my students fine tune the skills that will separate them from others and prepare them for the managerial challenges that will determine their success.
Background - Bruce MacLean earned his MBA from the University of Chicago majoring in Finance. He brings to VU 35 years of executive management experience with large multi-national corporations, medium sized domestic corporations, and a start-up educational technology firm. His positions include Vice President, Finance; Corporate Financial Officer; Director, Finance & Planning Overseas Operations; Corporate Strategic Planning Manager; Corporate Manufacturing Manager; Market Research Analyst; and Entrepreneur.
