Application Requirements

  • Students must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States or its possessions.
  • Students must be full time undergraduate students in 2008-2009.

Application Process

  • Download the application form.
  • Complete the application form by FEBRUARY 22, 2008 to be considered for  the AHREM. (American-Hungarian Research Experience in Mathematics)
  • Please also include your
    1. vita (including work experiences and community involvement and activities)
    2.  statement of interest and goals (no longer than 2 pages) related to the AHREM
    3.  unofficial transcript
    4.  two letters of recommendation from mathematics or science faculty members.
The vita, statement of interest, unofficial transcript, and letters of recommendation can either be mailed or e-mailed to:
