Tenure track position available at the rank of assistant professor beginning August, 2010, pending budget approval. Ph.D. preferred; required for tenure. Area of specialization in the mathematical sciences is open, including mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, and/or operations research. Teaching experience is valued. Duties include: teach 5 courses (21 hours) per year, continued scholarly activity, and service to the department and University. Candidates should be willing to work in a scholarly community committed to Christian higher education in the Lutheran tradition.
