At our departmental homecoming gathering, October 11, 9:30 a.m. in Gellersen 124, Professor Lehmann will be giving a short presentation as described below. Everyone is welcome to stop in.
"If it's Noon in New York, What Time is it in Cincinnati?"
A smorgasbord of delights (mathematical of course) from the time of the founding of the university, in what we like to think of as a simpler time. You too can be as smart as a 19th century schoolchild. (Note: the answer to the question in the title is not "noon".)
