NICTE Grant Awarded
Professor Melissa Desjarlais was awarded a $9,000.00 grant from NICTE (Northwest Indiana Consortium for Teacher Education),to be partnered with three Michigan City, Indiana, middle schools, to establish after school math clubs.
Students will be preparing to participate in the regional MathCounts Competition at Valparaiso University in February, 2009.
