Student Research Presentations
Two mathematics majors presented the results of their year-long research activity at the annual Undergraduate Mathematics Converence hosted by the Mathematics Department at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on March 27th, 2010. Krista Schaefer presented the paper "When Does Quarantine Make Things Worse?" Krista and Adam Shull worked together on this project under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Maxin. Mark Burek presented the paper "Modeling Segregation of Neighborhoods with Three Types of Individuals". He is part of the undergraduate research group led by Professor Rick Gillman.
