- FACULTY AND STUDENTS TRAVEL TO CONFERENCES
On March 1, 2008, VU students, Adam Shull, Buddy Boskamp, and Angie Storer, traveled to the Illiana Undergrad Conference at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. Adam gave a talk titled "Properties of Ideal-Divisors" along with John Holmes from Wabash College.
On Saturday, October 25, Ken Luther, Zsuzsanna Szaniszlo, and Lara Pudwell, attended the Indiana Section of the Mathematical Association of America at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana. Ken attended the Executive Board meeting on Friday evening the 24th. He is Vice-Chair of the section. Ken also moderated one of the parallel sessions on Saturday. Also on Saturday, Zsuszanna presented the talk "Graphs and Radio Channels".
