Computer Science and Mathematics majors at Valparaiso University have a wide variety of interests. Why did you choose to be a mathematics major?
I have always loved math and math comes naturally to me. I was a math team captain as a senior in high school. The math team was my favorite part of high school.
What are your career plans after graduation?
I plan to attend graduate school and pursue a higher degree in mathematics.
What extra-curricular activities do you participate in at Valpo?
I am a member of Christ College; Alpha Lamda Delta (the freshman honor society); competitive ballroom dance team. I also take violin lessons.

Why did you choose to be a mathematics major?
I chose to be a math major because I really did well in math in high school and enjoyed it. The natural next step for me was to continue my math career in college.
What are your career plans after graduation?
I am not committing to a career just yet; luckily my majors give me versatility and flexibility after I graduate.
What extra-carricular activities do you participate in at Valpo?
I am a member of Alliance, Alpha Phi Omega-Service Organization, and Christ College.

Why did you choose to be a computer science major?
I am a language person and also love working with computers, so computer science and programming are the perfect fit for me.
What are your career plans after graduation?
I hope to have a career in computer programming or design. I.T. is a possibility as well.
What extra-carricular activities do you participate in at Valpo?
I am a member of Campus Reublicans, German Club, Chamber Concert Band, Campus Crusade for Christ, and St. Teresa's.
