Experience working with OMP: "As a first year at Valpo three years ago, I felt lost and did not know what my place or what role I could potentially play at the university. I soon discovered the Office of Multicultural Programs and it became my home away from home. The OMP has supported me through a transition stage in my life; being a 1st generation college student, 1st generation American citizen, Latina and woman has not been easy. But the OMP helped me realize my potential to be a trailblazer and a leader on Valpo's campus. They helped instill confidence in me and provided me with not only support, but different resources and opportunities to grow and discover my calling throughout my time at Valpo. The OMP has become my safe space and my second-family and I will always be grateful for the friendships and memories created throughout my time at Valpo."
