 Dolores Keller has taught studio piano at Valparaiso
University for more than twenty-five years. She received
her undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University,
with a major in music and minors in history and philosophy.
Later she took graduate study there in piano pedagogy and
completed her master's degree at Valparaiso University.
She has also taken advanced study in piano at Indiana
University. Since 1993 she has participated each August in
the Interlochen Chamber Music Seminars, where she plays
both piano and cello. Although trained as a pianist, she
has adopted cello playing as her avocation, and for ten
years she played in the Valparaiso University Orchestra.
Mrs. Keller and her husband have lived in Valparaiso since
1974, when they moved here from Palatine, Illinois. She is
the mother of two grown sons.
