Becky Graef has taught studio piano at Valparaiso University as adjunct faculty member since fall 2000. Previously she taught piano privately for eight years in California, working with children to adults. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Concordia University, Seward, Nebraska, 1975, and a Master of Music Degree from Valparaiso University, 1993. Since graduating from Concordia, she has served nine congregations in various capacities, but always in the area of church music, as organist, choir director, and worship planner. Currently, she serves a Lutheran church in Valparaiso as the Worship and Music Coordinator. Becky's skills in church work were strengthened with more study which led to consecration as a deaconess in 1992. Her hobbies include reading, walking, and needlework.
