Physics alumnus named director of Tulsa planetarium

Chris Pagan, a 2002 graduate of Valparaiso University with a bachelor’s degree in physics has been named director of the new planetarium at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum. The planetarium opens May 9.

The planetarium uses new technology in which everything from the stars to video come from a single fish-eye lens projector, and is only the second planetarium in the world to use the ultra-high resolution technology.

Pagan previously worked as the assistant planetarium director at the South Florida Science Museum in West Palm Beach, Fla.
