What is RSS?

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" or "Rich Site Summary" and is a tool that allows you to receive notification (a feed) when new information has been posted on the University's news Web site.

How do I access RSS?

To receive RSS feeds you will need a news aggregator. Numerous types of aggregators (readers) are available. After selecting the one you want to use, you will need to indicate to your reader the URL/shortcut that corresponds to the feed to which you are subscribing by clicking a link below, or by copying and pasting the address into your news aggregator.

You can use your aggregator to subscribe to RSS feeds from a variety of sources such as CNN, CBS, etc.
