Donna Van De Water has more than 20 years of brand marketing and research expertise. As director of marketing research at Lipman Hearne, she has conducted qualitative and quantitative research including image and positioning, publication development, admissions, alumni, identity, membership, needs assessment, and tracking studies on behalf of colleges, universities,and nonprofit organizations. Van De Water has a Ph.D. in psychology from Loyola University Chicago, where she taught for 10 years. She also holds an M.B.A. degree from Northwestern’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where she served as a faculty member teaching research methods in marketing. She earned a B.A. degree in sociology from Valpo in 1981. Van De Water is a member of the American Marketing Association, the Marketing Research Association, Qualitative Research Consultants Association, and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. She has published articles and presented for these associations as well as the American Psychological Association.
