Former graduate students Deanna Huss and Ghariwayne Fornillos presented their evidence- based practice guidelines at the Midwest Nursing Research Society's conference in March. Deanna and Ghariwayne received Zeta Epsilon research grants which supported their membership in the research society.
Deanna found that the conference was a great opportunity to network with other professionals and display her own accomplishments. She found networking with other who shared her interest rewarding and felt reassured that her hard work was indeed valuable to the nursing profession. Deanna reported, "Being in an atmosphere where others are excited about research and evidence- based practice developments is contagious and inspiring!"
