Julie White, RN, MSN
Professor White joined the College of Nursing faculty in 2012 and teaches in the BSN and RN-BSN programs as a lecturer and clinical instructor. She received her BSN from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. She earned her MSN in maternal-child nursing at Rush University in Chicago, focusing on staff development and education. Professor White has extensive experience in neonatal and pediatric nursing; she has worked as a staff RN in both neonatal and pediatric intensive care units. She also taught at the University of Illinois-Chicago and was the coordinator of the Childbearing Family and Leadership classes and clinicals for their graduate entry program. Professor White has written and researched test questions for NCLEX, reviewed and updated maternal-child study guides, and has participated in grant writing at IU Health LaPorte Hospital.
