Constance Lemley, MSN, CGNS-BC

Assistant Professor



Professor Lemley has taught in the undergraduate program since 2004. She has clinical experience in geriatrics, long term care, and home care/community health. Professor Lemley also has a negotiated joint appointment between Valparaiso University and LaPorte Hospital. At LaPorte Hospital, she also serves on the Nursing Research, Advanced Practice Nursing Committees, Ethics Committee, and Labs Committee.

Professor Lemley is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, American Nurses Association, National Gerontological Nursing Association, and an Honors Member of the Nightingale Society. She also holds a certificate degree from Purdue North Central in Supervision/Leadership.

Professor Lemley has a feature article published in the Kozier Fundamental Nursing textbook and was a co-presenter of a poster presentation at the 7th National Conference on Nursing Skills Laboratories. She has written a book chapter that has been accepted by the National Gerontologic Nursing Association Review of Gerontologic Nursing.
