Biography

Professor Nesius joined the Valparaiso University nursing faculty in the summer of 2007.
She teaches in the undergraduate program. One of her main interest is in the VNLC simulation lab.
 
Professor Nesius has had experience as a staff nurse in medical/surgical units and long-term care facilities. She taught at Ivy Tech Community College for 8 years prior to coming to Valparaiso University. She presently practices as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Valparaiso University Student Health Center.
 
Professor Nesius is a member of Sigma Theta Tai, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Society of Nurses in Advance Practice. Professor Nesius is currently enrolled in the Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Valparaiso University and will graduate in May of 2011.
