Suzanne Elizabeth Zentz, DNP, RN, CNE

Assistant Professor of Nursing, Coordinator RN-BSN Completion Program and RN-MSN Option



Professor Zentz teaches in the undergraduate and graduate programs and is coordinator of both the RN-BSN completion program and the RN-MSN option. Her area of expertise is maternal-child nursing. Her clinical background includes pediatric oncology, pediatric intensive care, general pediatrics, and pediatric home health. She is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International, Zeta Epsilon Chapter, and currently holds the office of secretary. Professor Zentz's interests include implementing EBP through clinical pathway development, and creating community partnerships. She has initiated and sustained numerous projects that involve service-learning activities for nursing students. Professor Zentz has published articles in Professional Journal of Nursing and Journal of Pediatric Nursing. She also serves as a Peer Reviewer for Journal of Pediatric Nursing.
