![]() | Suzanne Elizabeth ZentzAssistant Professor of Nursing, Coordinator RN-BSN Completion Program and RN-MSN OptionBiographyProfessor Zentz joined the faculty in 1993 after serving as Coordinator of Nursing Admissions for Valparaiso University for three years. She teaches in the undergraduate program and is Coordinator of both the RN-BSN Completion Program and the RN-MSN Option. Prior to coming to Valparaiso University, Professor Zentz had experiences in hospital-based nursing education at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas and at Porter Valparaiso Campus in Valparaiso, Indiana. Her clinical background includes general pediatrics, pediatric intensive care, pediatric home health and pediatric oncology. Forming partnerships with community agencies to meet the needs of both students and the community is of particular interest to Professor Zentz. These experiences are incorporated into her maternal nursing clinicals. In addition to her responsibilities with the College of Nursing, Professor Zentz is actively involved in teaching Safe Sitter and CPR in the community.
