Services for Multicultural Students

The ease in which you make your transition to college is very important. Our staff is here to help make your transition easier by providing a wide array of support services that are available to you from when you first get to VU and until you graduate. Some of these services include:

Caring Mentors through the SMART Scholars Program
General advising and personal counseling
Availability to students for consultation or individual needs assessment
Support in addressing academic, cultural, and social concerns
Study Skills and Learning Strategies Workshops
Leadership Development Training Opportunities
Information about campus resources
Assistance in resolving academic challenges or financial difficulties
Scholarship and Internship Information
Student advocacy for student concerns
Link to multicultural student organizations and professional mentoring through MANA (Multicultural Alumni Networking Association)
