Do you like to help others?

Are you looking to get engaged on campus this year?

Did you volunteer in high school and want to continue that in college?

Do you want to meet new and fun people while helping your campus, community, and world?

THEN V.O.I.C.E. IS THE GROUP FOR YOU!

WHAT IS V.O.I.C.E.?

V.O.I.C.E. is a student developed, student run organization that encourages and empowers students to find their niche, or VOICE, in order to become actively involved in their campus, community, and world! Whether you are searching for one-time volunteer opportunities or something steady and regular, V.O.I.C.E. has something for everyone! VOICE is also the lead organization of all volunteer opportunities available for Valpo students!

WHAT CAN V.O.I.C.E. OFFER ME?

V.O.I.C.E. provides opportunities to meet new people, the ability to make an impact, and to have a good time while doing it! V.O.I.C.E. can also help you gain skills that professional companies are looking for when hiring new employees- teamwork, time management, dedication, problem solving, and so many more! VOICE will also record and log volunteer hours that you can include with resumes, attach to scholarship applications, submit for classwork, or turn in to a sorority or fraternity headquarters.

WHEN DOES V.O.I.C.E. MEET?

V.O.I.C.E. meets every Tuesday at 7:30pm in the Union, Crusader Room.

WHAT HAPPENS AT V.O.I.C.E. MEETINGS?

V.O.I.C.E. meets each week to dicuss and participate in volunteer opportunities. Each meeting is different which makes them fun and exciting before you even get there! Some regular agenda items include numerous volunteer opportunities to sign up for, guest speakers from the campus and community about volunteerism and civic engagement, and a mini service project that is completed at each meeting (i.e. cards for children's hospitals or making decorations for elderly homes).

**V.O.I.C.E. is still looking for students to fill executive board positions  for the '06-'07 school year **

so if you are interested please fill out this form and return it as an attachment to
