A NEW OUTLOOK:
Valparaiso University Professor Walter Wangerin is taking a different approach in being "Outspoken for Lutheran Vespers", his effort to call
attention to the radio ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. After breaking his hip during a biking accident as he neared the halfway point in his planned nine-week bicycle ride through eight Midwestern states, he is completing the trip in a motor home. Rev. Wangerin, who is writer-in-residence and Jochum university professor at Valpo, is speaker for Lutheran Vespers.
