Faculty Scholars
In the forthcoming book "The Practice of Religious and Secular Humanisms," Christ College Professor Slavica Jakelić argues that the 20th-century social movements and the religious-secular alliances they helped engender can help illustrate the value of deep pluralism. These movements created political spaces of joint action in which activists could take seriously what they shared and what separated them as citizens.
