Family Weekend 2006 and 2007

Mark your calendars for Family Weekend 2007, October 19 through 21.

Valpo FOCUS Sessions

At FOCUS, parents get to attend class, live in a residence hall and eat delicious cafeteria food. This is one of the few opportunities they will have to immerse themselves in the college experience. Parents Council members are on hand for a special parents reception and an opportunity to have questions answered. You will receive information from admission regarding your student's FOCUS dates. Stop by the Parents Council booth at the Student Services fair.

Parents Council Welcome Center

Each fall, mom, dad and student pack-up half of the house and move it to Valpo. Parents Council members are on campus during Welcome Weekend to help with refreshments, directions, information, or just a seat and a tissue - the Parents Council Welcome Center provides useful information and a place to rest. Join us Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007. Look for the large tent across from Lankenau and Alumni halls.

Parents Panel

Parents Council members, along with University administrators, are on hand during Welcome Weekend to answer any and all of your questions about Valpo based on their own experiences. Join us 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., Saturday Aug. 18, 2007, Neils Science Center, Room 224.
