Valpo Philosophy faculty are committed to helping students think deeply and clearly about life's most important issues.  All hold doctorates from top Philosophy Graduate programs, including Yale, Syracuse, Washington University, and the University of Southern California.  Their areas of expertise cover Metaphysics, Epistemology, Logic and the Philosophy of Logic, Philosophy of Language, Philosophy of Religion, Philosophical Theology in the Christian tradition, Political Philosophy, Ethics, Asian Philosophy, Environmental Philosophy, and the History of Philosophy.  Affiliated faculty in Christ College and the Department of Theology specialize in Kierkegaard and Bioethics.
