David M. Rolling, Ph.D, holds an appointment as assistant professor and director of the Sports Management undergraduate and Sports Administration MS/JD Programs within the Department of Kinesiology. In this role, Dr. Rolling teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in sport law, finance, facility management and development, psychology, sociology, marketing, promotions, and fundraising, governance, research methods. He is also the internship coordinator for the program.
Dr. Rolling holds a doctorate of philosophy in Sport Administration from the University of Kansas, has published or been cited in Athletic Business, Prairie Business Magazine, and The Sponsorship Connection, and was a Reviewer for the Cyber-Journal of Sports Views and Issues. He has presented at the North American Society for Sport Management, the Florida Sport Administration and Physical Education Conference, as well as various campuses across North America. His consulting work includes bid proposals, contract negotiation, and facility design.
