Biography

Andrew Richter ’90, Ph.D., joined the faculty at Valpo in 2005, already quite familiar with the University: he is an alumnus from the class of 1990. Before coming to Valpo, he was an assistant professor at the University of Memphis for three years (where he holds adjunct Graduate Faculty status). Prior to that, he was a research fellow at AIST in Tsukuba, Japan. Professor Richter’s wife, Jennifer Prough, Ph.D., also teaches at Valpo in Christ College — The Honors College.
