Over the last ten years, VU students have been hired for almost 90 summer research assistantships in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. The research projects include topics in nuclear and particle physics, observational astronomy, atmospheric physics, computational catalysis, and experimental nanoscale physics. This week faculty members from the department will briefly describe opportunities for students to participate in these projects in summer 2011.
