Fall Astronomy Day this October was a huge success: more than 50 middle-school students were on campus to learn about the Sun, the stars, and the solar system. Students made telescopes and constructed solar system models. VU undergrads provided much of the help (thanks!), and the day was organized by Dr. Hillwig who was funded by the Indiana Space Consortium. '
We hope that everyone involved had a great time and learned a lot about our amazing universe.
