Science Education Degree Opportunity

Valpo was recently awarded an NSF grant for recruiting, training, and mentoring science education majors. This program, called MSEED, will greatly expand the number of students entering secondary education with adequate training in a field of science and/or mathematics. Science teachers are in short supply, especially those trained in physics, so this will lead to wonderful career opportunities for our graduates and to the enhancement of the state of science education in Indiana, the Midwest, and the US in general.
