Student Research

There are opportunities for gaining research experience in physics and astronomy while an undergraduate at VU. Some of these opportunities allow the student to work directly with members of the physics and astronomy faculty in the research they are doing. In other instances this might be research done at a national laboratory or at another university research center. Each summer many of our students are engaged in such research activities and tell us about them at our colloquium series in the fall when they return.
