The Department of Political Science offers many opportunities for internships.  Many of our students do internships in Washington DC through our Washington Semester Program.  Students in this program get full time internships in a wide variety of places including with Congressional and Senate staffs, positions in the executive branch, with the local Washington DC government, and in many non governmental organizations. This is a valuable way to both learn and gain experience. Many students get job offers as a result of their internship. Students get full academic credit for these activities.
