VALPARAISO -- More than a half century of Valparaiso University history started to crumble this week.

Workers began removing the insides of the Student Union, built in 1955, earlier this week and on began demolition early Thursday. (read more...)

In 2009, the Harre Union was recognized for its excellence in design. Just shortly after the Union was open to the public, it received an award from both the American School and University Educational Interiors Showcase and the Greater Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce.
