2005-2006 Course Planning Sheet
Bachelor of Science in Psychology

The Bachelor of Science degree is generally recommended for those interested in pursuing graduate school in psychology, or anyone who prefers taking math/science courses over foreign language as part of their general education requirements.

A minimum of 32 credits of psychology courses are required for the degree, except for some individuals with a second science major.  No more than 48 credits of psychology may be counted toward the overall total of 124 credits required for graduation.

In addition to the requirements outlined below, you must complete all general education requirements, and also one of the following:
A science minor, e.g. biology
A Liberal Arts Business minor
A second major, either science or non-science
A psychology major of at least 40 credits.

Below is a chart which gives requirements in different areas.  The chart includes a listing of the semesters that courses are typically offered, but you should be aware that this changes from time to time and is only given as a general guide.  Consult your advisor, the catalog and time schedule as you make choices.
