Amanda Zelechoski, J.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Zelechoski joined the faculty in 2011 and is an Assistant Professor of Psychology. She is a licensed attorney and clinical psychologist, specializing in the areas of trauma and forensic psychology. She has worked clinically with adults, children, and families in inpatient, outpatient, and forensic settings. Dr. Zelechoski’s primary research interests include forensic and mental health assessment, intervention development and evaluation for at-risk, delinquent, and traumatized youth, and the intersection of psychology, law, and public policy. She primarily teaches courses in the areas of child and adolescent development, psychopathology, clinical psychology, and law and psychology. Outside of the classroom and lab, Dr. Zelechoski enjoys spending time with her family and her feisty yellow lab, Domer.
