Constance J. Deuschle, Ed.D.Visiting Assistant ProfessorBiographyConstance J. Deuschle will serve in the position of Visiting Assistant Professor in Psychology for the 2008-2009 school year. She previously taught for eight years at Indiana University South Bend in the Counseling and Human Services Department. Her courses included school counseling classes for counselors choosing to work in the school setting. Her research has focused on addiction treatment for females, school mentors, and school counseling supervision. Currently, she is interested in counseling programs in Africa and has spent several weeks volunteering in Tanzania. She will be teaching counseling Practicum courses and classes related to community health and counseling children and adolescents. Outside of the university, she and her husband enjoy camping with family, visiting their three sons and eight grandchildren, and traveling as often as possible.
