Dickmeyer Hall, 202A
Dr. Winquist came to VU 1999 and is an Associate Professor of Psychology. She primarily teaches courses in Statistics, General Psychology and Research Methods. Her current research program is a collaborative effort with colleagues in Israel and it investigates the role of rumination and self-focused attention in depression. In addition to the work on rumination, she has also worked with students to conduct studies on attitudes and behaviors related to environmentalism, group decision making, and implicit attitudes toward feminists. When she’s not working, Dr. Winquist and her husband Dr. Rob Swanson (in the biology department) are busy with their young twins, Max and Moya.
