Each year the department recognizes outstanding students and leaders in the department.  Among the awards offered are:

• The Jody Esper Essay Award on Sexual Assault Awareness & Prevention
• The J. Melvin and Lucille G. Nelson Scholarship in Psychology and Religion
• Rudolph C. Waldschmidt Award for Outstanding Student in Psychology
