Stewart Cooper, director of counseling services and professor of psychology recently co-authored an article titled “Consultants’ Use of Telepractice: Practitioner Survey, Issues, and Resources” with Valpo alumnus Cody Neal. The article appeared in Consulting Psychology Journal, and the research aims to enhance the understanding of the nature of telepractices within the consulting psychologist practice. During their research, Cooper and Neal assessed the use of technology, social media, and electronic communication and articulated the key telepractice issues and challenges faced by psychologists who engage in consulting. The article also shared emerging trends in telepractice guidelines and resources.
