Bins: Using the New System

USE THE NEW RECYCLING SYSTEM! It's as easy as "1, 2, 3"

1. The FIRST BIN is for ALL RECYCLABLE PAPER PRODUCTS
   • Newspapers
   • Magazines
   • Office Paper (white and colored)
   • Junk Mail
   • Brown Grocery Bags
   (Flattened cardboard may be placed loose next to this bin; this includes pizza boxes if NOT contaminated by food waste.)

2. The SECOND BIN is for ALL RECYCLABLE CONTAINERS
   • All cans (steel, aluminum, tin)
   • All plastic jugs and bottles (milk jugs, soda bottles, bleach and detergent bottles)
   • All glass jars and bottles (clear, green, brown, etc.)

3. The THIRD BIN is for TRASH that cannot be recycled (this includes any paper products that have been contaminated by food waste.)

IMPORTANT REMINDER: PLEASE be sure to put trash in the trash container ONLY and not in the bins for recyclable materials. If trash is put in a bin for recyclable materials, ten the contents of that whole bin CANNOT be recycled and will go to the landfill!
