V.U.
sociology and criminology students are typically
placed in agencies either locally or with the
Federal system in and around Chicago.
You may also arrange
an internship if you will not be on or near campus
during the semester, such as during the summer.
It is, however, your responsibility to get any
forms to the agency. The agency contact person
will need to establish contact with the V.U.
internship coordinator so procedures can be met.
There
is no guarantee you will be placed in the agency
or program you requested. It is therefore important
that you establish your request early and maintain
contact with the V.U. internship coordinator.
