Drew Nelson found Valparaiso University’s campus to be just the right size for the type of inclusive, engaging community he was seeking.

Drew came to Valpo for the nursing program, but found so much more. He’s found friends for a lifetime through his fraternity and through intramurals.

“Through the work I’ve done through my fraternity, through the work I’ve done through the nursing program, I feel like I’ve had an opportunity that some people have not.”

On campus and off, in and outside of the classroom, you’ll feel a sense of community at Valpo. Residence halls are a focal point for forming lasting friendships, whether forming intramural teams or organizing spur-of-the-moment activities.

See a show at the Valparaiso University Center for the Arts. Attend a Division I sporting event. Join one of our many student organizations. These experiences will prepare you for success after graduation. New Valpo alumni annually find rewarding jobs and placement in top graduate schools. Those alumni are in great demand — just as you will be.
