Valparaiso University currently maintains physical campus centers in Cambridge, England; Reutlingen, Germany; Hangzhou, China and Puebla, Mexico. We are exploring the potential to develop additional campus centers in Latin or South America and in Africa as well. In addition to these international sites, we collaborate with other Lutheran universities who have facilities abroad so we can enable our students to study in nearly any stable country.
We have established international internships for our students in Engineering and in Business. Our Career Center promotes and Valparaiso’s opportunities for international learning. This initiative is tied to our academic strategy, which is focused on experiential learning, co-operative education, service, internships and undergraduate research with faculty members.
With respect to cross-cultural learning experiences, our goal is to increase both the number of students and the number of opportunities for short and long term participation in study-abroad programs.
