The purpose of the American Guild of Organists is to promote the organ in its historic and evolving roles, to encourage excellence in the performance of organ and choral music, and to provide a forum for mutual support, inspiration, education, and certification of Guild members.

The Reddel Memorial Organ

The Fred and Ella Reddel Memorial Organ was built by the Schlicker Organ Company of Buffalo, New York. At its dedication on 27 September 1959, the organ had 47 stops and 64 ranks. In 1995, the Dobson Pipe Organ Builders, Ltd. of Lake City, Iowa were contracted to renovate, complete, and expand the organ. The rededication took place on 15 September 1996 with a completed organ of 73 stops and 103 ranks.
