Alpha Phi Omega's cardinal principles are leadership, friendship, and service.
Leadership: APO enhances your leadership abilities by giving you the opportunity to be on comittees, be elected or appointed to chapter positions, and attend Sectional, Regional, and National conferences. We also offer leadership development programs (known as L.E.A.D.S.)
Friendship: We believe in having a good time together. Some examples include: bowling, movie nights, game nights, midnight movie viewings, dinners, pot lucks, ultimate frisbee, and road trips.
Service: We provide service to: the campus, the community, the fraternity, and to the nation as participating citizens.
*Campus: blood drives, campus clean ups, promoting awareness, pancake breakfasts, and freshman move-in.
*Community: Hillside House Shelter, Spring Valley Shelter, Opportunity Enterprises, Canterbury Place, Popcorn Festival, Tope.
*Fraternity: being a voting delegate to national, regional, and sectional conferences, aiding other chapters, holding positions within the chapter.
*Nation: voting and getting out the word to vote.
