On January 25th at 8pm Campus Crusade will be showing Collision in the Common room of the Library. It is a discussion between a devout pastor, Douglas Wilson, and an atheist, Christopher Hitchens about the if Christianity is good for the world.

Fall Retreat Last Year

Campus Crusade would like to invite you to come to Fall Retreat this semester. It is on the weekend of October 23-25th, the weekend after fall break.

The Cost is 45 dollars for freshman and first-timers, and 65 dollars for anyone returning.

He is usually happier than he looks in the photo:) Dave has been a part of Campus Crusade since freshman year. He joined leadership spring semester, and has been fun having as a team member. Last summer he went on a “summer project” to Mrytle Beach, South Carolina, with Campus Crusade for Christ. It was a life changing event for him, and he recommends anyone to go and experience a summer project. I don’t know what else he would like to have said about him. I am a Sophomore Electrical Engineering Major. I am also one of the freshman guys bible study leaders in Cru. I really love the work God has done in my life, especially this summer. He works in so many ways and is quite spectacular. Getting into the Word is the best thing that has happened in my life. It is simply amazing.  I love to hang out with friends, have meaningful conversations, read, watch movies, ballroom dance, and play frisbee.

I help keep track of the finances for CRU, making sure money is used wisely and in the best ways possible.  I also take care of reimbursements for students.  Campus Crusade for Christ has been a major influence toward shaping me into an authentic Christian leader, there is still plenty to be done. But that is the beauty of it, there is always room for improvement. A favorite verses is Proverbs 16:9 “In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.” Trust in Him and depend upon Him for everything! I have enjoyed being a part of CRU because of the challenge to step out of my comfort zone in being a disciple for Christ and Christian fellowship.

Hi! My name is Rachel Hessler, class of ‘10!  If you’re interested, my
official title is “Large Group Committee Leader,” which basically means that
I’m in charge of all things Monday Night CRU.  So if anyone ever wants to
help out with worship or technology stuff, or knows a great speaker, shoot
me an email! I am from Cleveland, Ohio and am a Biology/Chemistry major.
Someday I want to become a medical missionary and work with people who can’t
afford health care and don’t know Jesus.  Some things I love (in no
particular order): singing and music, mountains, kids, Jesus, my roommate
Molly, the movie Pride and Prejudice (and the memories it inspires), reading
really good books by Ted Dekker and C.S. Lewis, and following my dreams and
my God with all my heart.

Hey, My name is Molly Grime and I am a Nursing major that is expected to graduate in May 2010, providing that nothing bad happens before then  I am from Archbold, Ohio which is a very small town in Northwest Ohio, and my house is almost completely surrounded by cornfields lol.  I was very fortunate to have grown up in the church however I did not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ until I attended college.  Campus Crusade has facilitated many opportunities for me to grow in my faith and develop a deeper relationship with God.  Through Campus Crusade I am the head of the Outreach Committee, I lead a worship team for our large group meetings on Monday nights, and I also co-lead a Bible study for upperclassmen women.  Each of these things has been very important to me and has helped me become more of a leader committed to Christ.  A little more about me:  I would someday love to live in Africa working as a nurse, I absolutely love to play the guitar, intramural sports is a big part of my college life, I have the best roommate in the world (Rachel Hessler), and I love being there for people.  If you have any other questions, just ask!  I would love to get to know you!

Since coming away to school, God has revealed Himself to me in crazy new ways. He’s walked with me through the fire that has refined my faith and my love. He’s comforted me in my loneliness and confusion. He’s been faithful and faithful and faithful. He’s blessed me with this little extension of His Body that’s in Campus Crusade. He’s taught me what it means to cultivate TRUE friendships and to unite with people of all different backgrounds within Christianity. It’s beautiful. : ) The most important thing in my life is to KNOW God (John 17:3)
