Thank you for your interest in our fall service project!
In order to make participation easy and accommodating, we have divided this event into two primary activities. The first is the Bog Restoration project, where volunteers will carpool to the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and collaborate with National Park Staff to remove invasive species around Cowles Bog. The second project will run concurrently with the Bog Restoration project and is fittingly called Butt Out! This program is a scavenger challenge across campus with the goal of collecting as many cigarette butts and litter, as well as hidden scavenger items, as possible! Much more information about each project, as well as an individual time-line, is available by using the links provided or by using the navigational tool found to the left of this text box.
